As an IT Coordinator, you will be responsible for the overall support of the company's IT hardware and software. This role provides hands-on technical support to users at offices and job sites, while also supporting servers, networking equipment, cloud applications, mobile devices, cybersecurity practices, and IT systems throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
IT Support & User Services
Support end users by installing and configuring hardware and software and troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues.
Provide Wi-Fi network support and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Manage and support printers at offices and job sites, including high-volume and wide-format printers.
Manage the IT ticketing system and ensure support is provided in a timely fashion.
Provide technical assistance and training to non-technical individuals.
Develop relevant documentation and procedures for users.
Employee Onboarding & IT Administration
Manage and take responsibility for onboarding new employees, including equipment preparation and day-one training.
Administer Microsoft Office 365 and Intune.
Administer other cloud-based applications such as Egnyte for file sharing, Procore project management software, and other in-house applications as necessary.
Manage mobile devices, including hardware, vendor contracts, and records.
Maintain an accurate inventory of IT hardware and software across all locations.
Network, Server & Job Site Support
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair server hardware and software issues.
Maintain and support local and remote network systems, including LAN, WAN, and VPN environments.
Perform job site setup of Internet, network, printers, and Wi-Fi, and provide ongoing support throughout the job site lifecycle.
Maintain IT best practices for the setup and administration of IT systems.
Support phone system and voice infrastructure as required.
Security, Backup & Business Continuity
Administer techniques to protect corporate data through endpoint security deployment,
proper backup practices, and disaster recovery procedures.
Maintain confidentiality and security of company documents and customer information.
Support backup solution administration and virtualization environments.
Adhere to established IT standards, methods, best practices, techniques, policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
Manage third-party IT consulting services.
Communicate effectively with senior management, employees, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Travel to job sites and other office locations as required.
Perform other duties as assigned to meet Company objectives.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Post-secondary diploma/degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology or Computer Science.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience; help desk support is an asset.
Experience with personal computer hardware and software and local and remote network systems.
Experience with Windows operating system troubleshooting, including hardware support.
Windows Server experience in an Active Directory environment.
Experience administering the Microsoft Office 365 suite of applications.
Experience with Viewpoint Construction Software is an asset.
Experience with Procore Software is an asset.
Technical Skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Strong computer skills with an aptitude for learning and administering new programs.
Strong network troubleshooting skills.
Ability to identify and diagnose high-level computer hardware and software issues and find effective solutions across all levels of the OSI model.
Knowledge of high-volume and wide-format printers is an asset.
LAN, WAN, and VPN experience is an asset.
Backup solution administration experience is an asset.
Cloud-based Office 365 administration experience is an asset.
Virtualization experience is an asset.
Phone system/voice infrastructure experience is an asset.

Requirements
Valid G driver's license and access to a vehicle is required.
Ability to travel to various project locations as required.
Ability to work on project sites as required.
Overtime may be required.
Ability to lift or move up to 25 lbs. may be required.
