We’re Hiring: Powertrain Engine OBD Calibration Engineer

We are looking for a Powertrain Engine OBD Calibration Engineer to support the development, calibration, and validation of gasoline powertrain diagnostic systems.

? Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement OBD diagnostic calibration solutions
- Perform hands-on diagnostic verification and validation testing
- Calibrate diagnostic thresholds to meet CARB regulations
- Support diagnostic system requirements and hardware development
- Perform instrumentation, data acquisition, calibration, and data analysis
- Troubleshoot diagnostic and calibration issues
- Prepare technical reports, test summaries, and timing projections
- Support hot-weather and high-altitude validation testing

? Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering




- Up to 3 years of relevant experience; experienced candidates preferred
- Knowledge of On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) and gasoline propulsion systems
- Experience with INCA, MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow
- Robust understanding of instrumentation, data acquisition, and calibration
- Valid Driver’s License
- Canadian Citizenship required
- Willingness to travel approximately 2–4 weeks per year for validation activities
