Experienced Car Wash Detailer / Reconditioning Specialist Location: Richmond Hill- GTA Position Type: Full-Time / Permanent Pay Rate: $18 - $24/hour (Depending on experience) About the Role: We are a busy car dealership in the GTA seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Car Wash Detailer/Reconditioning Specialist to join our team immediately. We need someone who takes pride in their work and can transform trade-ins and auction vehicles into showroom-ready cars. Key Responsibilities: • Complete Vehicle Detailing: Perform high-quality interior and exterior detailing on a wide variety of dealership vehicles. • Paint Correction: Perform professional machine buffing, polishing, and waxing to remove scratches, swirls, and oxidation. • Touch-Up Work: Apply stone chip touch-up paint and minor cosmetic fixes to panels and bumpers. • Interior Deep Cleaning: Shampoo carpets, condition leather, clean headliners, and eliminate odors using professional tools and extractors. • Engine & Wheels: Safely clean, degrease, and dress engine bays, wheels, and tires. • Final Inspection:
Ensure every vehicle meets strict dealership showroom standards before it hits the lot or is delivered to a customer. What We Are Looking For (Requirements): • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of professional automotive detailing experience (Dealership experience preferred). • Technical Skills: Proven experience operating high-speed rotary buffers, dual-action (DA) polishers, and wet/dry extractors. • Paint Knowledge: Ability to safely assess paint thickness, wet-sand minor imperfections, and apply touch-up paint smoothly. • Driver's License: A valid Ontario G2 or G Driver’s License with a clean driving record (Required to move vehicles on the lot). • Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail, efficiency, and the physical stamina to work in a fast-paced setting.
