We have a immediate vacancy and are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Early Childhood Educator to join our team.

This is a 37 hour a week, full-time position based primarily at 17 Cornell Meadows Avenue, Markham, ON L6B 1B6

Job Responsibilities include:

· Supervision and care of the individual needs of every child the program

· Providing emotional, physical and behavioural support to children in their program enabling them to participate in all aspects of the program

· Daily record keeping and reporting in accordance with the CCEYA





· Communicating with and informing parents of their child’s day and development

· Planning and implementing an age-appropriate inclusive play-based program

· Assisting in organizing, sanitizing and general housekeeping duties in the classroom

Qualifications:

*Graduate of an Early Childhood Education Program

*Member in Good Standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators

*Current Vulnerable Sector Screening Check

*Standard First Aid and CPR- Level C + AED

*Current Immunization and Health Assessment

Additional Skills:

*Robust communication skills with staff, children and families

*Reliable, punctual and responsible

*Experience in program planning

Pay: $27.00 per hour
