Lee's Donuts started in 1979 as a little mom-and-pop donut shop in the heart of Granville Island Public Market.

More than 45 years later, we've grown quite a bit, but we're still about the same things: great donuts, good people, warm hospitality, and taking pride in what we do.

We're looking for an Evening Production Manager to lead our overnight production and commissary operations and make sure our shops wake up ready for another day.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who likes being trusted to run the show, keeps their cool when plans change, and gets a strange amount of satisfaction from a well-organized production schedule.

If you're a night person, even better.

What does an Evening Production Manager actually do?

You set tomorrow up for success.

You'll lead our evening production and commissary team, making sure we have the right people, ingredients, supplies, orders and production plans in place to get everything where it needs to go.

That includes:

- Leading the team and overseeing production so orders are completed accurately and on time.
- Managing inventory, ingredient and supply ordering, and keeping the commissary organized.
- Creating staff and production schedules and making sure we have the right coverage.
- Coordinating shop orders, special pre-orders and invoicing.
- Training and coaching team members and giving clear, respectful feedback.




- Making sure the products and prep needed for the following day are ready to go.
- Helping with the behind-the-scenes logistics, whether that’s coordinating deliveries, moving product or supplies between locations, or jumping in wherever the operation needs support.
- Keeping the Operations Manager informed about how things are running, what's working and where you need support.

And when something unexpected happens at 2:17am?

There probably isn't a meeting you can schedule about it.

You're the person who figures out what to do next.

Leadership here also means jumping in. Whether that's helping with production, moving supplies, cleaning equipment, supporting a delivery or filling an operational gap, you're not there to watch the work happen.

You're there to help lead it.

Previous leadership experience in a kitchen, bakery, food production, manufacturing, restaurant or similar environment would be a robust asset.

Donut experience? Not necessary.

Good judgement, reliability and the ability to lead a team at 3am? Much more important.

The important stuff

Pay: $26.00/hour + tips

Position: Full-Time, Permanent

Schedule: Overnight shifts between 8:00pm and 6:00am, approximately 40 hours per week

Benefits: 100% employer-paid benefits after successfully completing your three-month probationary period

Location: Vancouver, BC

This is an active position. You'll spend much of your shift on your feet in a commercial kitchen and production environment, lifting ingredients and supplies and occasionally moving between locations to support the operation.
