Drive IT risk and compliance strategy at Pet Valu in a hybrid capacity based in Markham, Ontario. Focus on NIST Cybersecurity Framework and third-party risk management to strengthen IT governance.

In this full time role, you will manage IT governance with an emphasis on compliance with ICFR, PCI-DSS, and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework. This position requires effective collaboration with Finance, Legal, and Security teams while overseeing remediation activities and maintaining the IT Security Risk Register.

Your leadership will help shape the company's risk management approach.

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as the main contact for audits related to IT compliance
- Implement and mature NIST CSF across ICT functions
- Oversee Third-Party Risk Management program
- Track remediation of IT risks and findings
- Deliver ongoing compliance reporting to leadership

Requirements:

- Minimum 8 years in IT governance, risk, or compliance
- At least 4 years in a leadership role
- Hands-on experience with TPRM programs
- Relevant professional certification needed
- Excellent skills in policy documentation
