We are partnering with a growing financial services and investment firm in Greater Montreal seeking an experienced Director, Fund Administration to lead fund administration, accounting, reporting and operational activities across its investment platform.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fund administration or fund accounting skilled who wants broader ownership, direct exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to play an important role in the continued growth of the business.What You'll DoLead day-to-day fund administration and fund accounting activitiesOversee NAV calculations, capital activity, reconciliations and financial reportingManage and review work completed by fund accounting and administration professionalsOversee capital calls, distributions, subscriptions and redemptionsCoordinate investor reporting and support investor inquiriesEnsure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual reportingWork with auditors, tax professionals, banks, custodians and other external service providersSupport financial statements, audit processes and regulatory requirementsImprove fund administration processes, controls and operational efficiencyPartner with senior leadership on new funds, structures and strategic initiativesHelp develop and mentor members of the fund administration teamWhat We're Looking ForCPA and 6+ years of relevant experience in fund administration, fund accounting, investment operations or asset servicingStrong understanding of fund accounting,
