In this full-time position, you will work alongside hardware experts to create safety-critical embedded software and optimize systems for performance. Your experience with FPGAs, microcontrollers, and real-time protocols is key to ensuring high reliability and efficiency in robotic operations. Collaboration with QA and manufacturing teams will enhance product deployment.
Key Responsibilities: • Develop firmware for various microcontrollers including ESP32 • Create drivers for motors and power systems • Implement communication protocols like UART and I²C • Design and integrate safety features and failsafes • Conduct hardware bring-up and system debugging
Requirements: • Bachelor's/Master's in relevant engineering discipline • 2+ years of embedded firmware experience • Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded applications • Familiarity with real-time operating systems • Experience with oscilloscope and logic analyzer
