The role includes clinical, administrative, teaching, and leadership responsibilities within the Head & Neck and Maxillofacial teams.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical DutiesProvide high-quality care to oral, maxillofacial and head & neck cancer patients.Participate in the 2-week wait cancer pathway, running a dedicated parallel clinic with a consultant.Attend and actively contribute to Head & Neck MDT meetings and post-MDT clinics.Ensure patients are appropriately staged and listed for MDT discussion within required timeframes.Manage the weekly major head & neck theatre list.Undertake middle-grade duties on the maxillofacial rota.Train in all aspects of maxillofacial and head & neck cancer surgery, including tumour resection and reconstruction.Maintain good communication with patients to support shared decision-making.Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation TrustOxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest NHS teaching trusts in the country.
