As a Journeyperson Mechanic for SOUTHLAND, you'll handle the ongoing maintenance and repair of our bus fleet. This position promises a rewarding work setting with opportunities for skill development and advancement. You'll earn between $40.00 and $43.00 per hour while enjoying a variety of employee recognition programs and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular maintenance on buses
• Respond to and resolve breakdown issues
• Work with management to prioritize tasks
• Complete necessary repair documentation
• Supervise and assist apprentice mechanics
Requirements:
• Must have a Journeyperson Ticket in Heavy Duty Mechanics
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license (Class 2 or 3 ideal)
• Desired: Safety Inspection Certification
• Prevost coach experience is an asset
