Hello, I'm Anthony Chacon, Recruitment Advisor at FED ManuTech, specializing in engineering, technical and manufacturing positions.I am currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineering Technician to join a technology-driven company specializing in solutions for the optics and electronics sectors, located in Kirkland.Mission Your RoleIn this role, you will work in an R&D environment, where your machining expertise and attention to detail will be used to develop high-precision tools, components and equipment.Your responsibilities will include:Operating manual machine tools, including manual lathes and milling machines.Operating CNC equipment as required by projects.Manufacturing and modifying high-precision components and tooling for optical and production applications.Performing hands-on assembly, fitting and machining work.Reading and interpreting technical drawings.Creating or modifying technical drawings using SolidWorks.Working closely with R&D, engineering and laboratory teams to develop solutions based on project requirements.Performing precise hands-on work in different optical and electronic laboratory environments.Following all safety procedures and requirements related to machine tool operation.Working Conditions :Permanent position in a technology-driven R&D environment.Work focused primarily on precision, quality and tooling development,
