At HOCS Projects, you will work alongside a highly experienced team executing projects from concept through commissioning with a strong focus on cost predictability and constructability.**Location:** Calgary, AB**Experience Levels:**Intermediate (5–10 years)Senior (10+ years)**What You Will Do**Lead and support mechanical design activities from concept studies through detailed engineering and commissioningPrepare and review equipment data sheets, specifications, and mechanical design calculationsSpecify, evaluate, and select mechanical equipment in accordance with ASME, API, CSA, and other applicable codesDevelop material requisitions (MRs), perform technical bid evaluations, and support procurement activitiesParticipate in P&ID development, piping design coordination, and HAZOP reviewsReview vendor drawings and coordinate with suppliers and fabricatorsSupport construction and commissioning activities,
including site and vendor visitsWork collaboratively with multi-discipline teams to deliver accurate and constructible designs**Senior Role (Additional Responsibilities):**Lead the mechanical discipline on projects of varying size and complexityProvide technical oversight and ensure quality of all mechanical deliverablesMentor and guide engineers and technologistsInterface with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders as required**What We Are Looking For**Intermediate: 5–10 years of oil & gas experienceSenior: 10–20+ years of oil & gas experienceEPC/EPPM background requiredDegree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (C.E.T. considered with experience)Registered or eligible for registration with APEGA (or equivalent in Canada)Robust knowledge of ASME Section VIII, ASME B31.3/B31.1, CSA Z662, API standardsExperience with pressure vessels, piping systems, and mechanical equipment designExperience with vendor coordination, package engineering, and fabricationStrong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentLegally entitled to work in Canada**Why Join HOCS Projects?**Be part of a growing, technically strong engineering firmWork on meaningful projects in the oil & gas and industrial sectorsCollaborative, team-focused environmentOpportunities to lead, mentor, and grow your careerOn-site perks including a gym and free parking#J-18808-Ljbffr
