Hydro One seeks a Transmission Planning Manager to leverage your expertise in integrated power systems and stakeholder management. You will collaborate with regulatory bodies, develop investment plans, and ensure compliance while maximizing efficiency and sustainability within Ontario’s electrical transmission infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities: • Oversee transmission project planning and execution • Develop long-term sustainment strategies for transmission • Conduct regulatory engagement and stakeholder negotiations • Ensure technical specifications are met for projects • Provide advice on policies and business planning
Requirements: • Degree in electrical engineering or related field • Minimum 8-10 years in power systems operations • Proven abilities in stakeholder management and negotiation • Robust knowledge of planning processes and standards • Experience with regulatory frameworks in Ontario
