Finance Administrator - Contract - 19365

Our nationally-recognized client in the downtown Ottawa area is looking for a Finance Administrator to join their organization on a one-year contract. This organization promotes collaboration within a positive work culture, paired with an industry-leading total compensation package.

- Accounts Payables- processing vendor invoices including coding, data entry, and verification
- Prepare payments according to schedule and manage urgent payments when required
- Recording and reconciliation of petty cash
- Process Accounts Receivable- applying payments and monitoring aging
- Respond to vendor inquiries and complete follow-ups in a timely and skilled manner
- Reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, resolving variances
- Assist in processing of full-cycle payroll, including deductions and remittances, WSIB filings
- Posting of Journal Entries & working closely with the General Ledger, adjustments as needed
- Ensure compliance with internal policies




- Work closely with members to answer any questions and resolve issues as required
- Provide administrative support as required

About You

- Post-secondary education in Business Administration (or equivalent)
- 2+ years of experience in full-cycle Accounting
- Must have 1+ years of experience processing full-cycle payroll
- Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking
- Highly organized, strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills, self-starter, collaborative
- Strong oral and written communication skills

About the Job

The annual salary for this opportunity is $55,000.00 to $57,000.00 depending on relevant experience. This role is eligible to access the organization’s total compensation package, which includes a myriad of industry-leading benefits.
