This specialized role focuses on enhancing and executing BWXT’s EHS programs. You will work closely with teams to ensure compliance with regulations and safety training while facilitating risk assessments. Your hands-on approach will be vital in leading incident investigations and ensuring the wellbeing of all employees in the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the implementation of EHS policies and procedures • Lead investigations of near-misses and incidents • Review and update safety training and documentation • Aid in maintaining compliance with safety standards • Support the Joint Health & Safety Committee initiatives
Requirements: • Minimum 4 years of direct EHS experience • In-depth knowledge of occupational health and safety laws • Robust verbal and written communication skills • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams • Familiarity with ISO 14001 and safety management systems
