The Salvation Army is looking for a dedicated Casual Shelter Worker. Your role involves assisting tenants with laundry, preparing meals, and guiding them through their personal plans. You’ll also maintain a supportive environment while managing various administrative duties and monitoring policy adherence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer in-room support for meal and laundry tasks
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the residence
• Provide guidance on assigned chores and monitor completions
• Record and report relevant incidents to staff members




• Assist clients in accompanying them to off-site appointments
Requirements:
• Completion of a high school diploma is mandatory
• A minimum of one year experience in a relevant setting
• Certifications in First Aid and CPR or the willingness to complete
• Solid communication skills and ability to de-escalate situations
• Experience working with diverse populations and backgrounds
