Pharm Clin Lead Cardio‑TFt Clinical Phar
Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, the Cardiovascular Clinical Lead (CVCL) Pharmacist will oversee and advance the practice of cardiovascular medicine at TBRHSC. The role requires a strong clinical background in cardiovascular medicine and a commitment to ensuring best practices related to pharmaceutical care of the cardiovascular patient. Promoting and practicing lifelong learning and patient‑centered care are at the core of this leadership role. This is a full‑time temporary position with potential to transition to a permanent full‑time position following successful program implementation, subject to organizational needs and funding.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy, or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy with Accredited Canadian Pharmacy Residency (ACPR), or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
- Must be a Registered Pharmacist Part A with Ontario College of Pharmacists.
- Clinical Pharmacist Specialist preferred; if no qualified candidates, Clinical Pharmacist with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy will be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of hospital pharmacist experience.
Skills & Abilities
- Demonstrated proficiency in cardiovascular medicine with a minimum of 5 years direct patient care practice.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
Assets
- Familiarity with committees, structure and processes within the Cardiovascular Medicine Program.
- Previous leadership experience is an asset.
Salary Range
$53,720 to $71,950.
