This position will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation and maintenance of all equipment relating to utilities and powerhouse operations. This includes high pressure low volume steam boilers, chillers, air compressors, CHP engines, water treatment, and cooling water systems.

The ideal candidate will have as a minimum the following:

- 4th Class Operating Engineer
- Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings.
- Must possess good troubleshooting skills and an attention to detail.

Responsibilities / Expectations

- Safely & efficiently operate the utilities equipment within a team setting.
- Monitor & maintain the various utilities systems within our facility.
- Actively participate in continuous process improvement opportunities.
- Follow all plant policies & procedures.
- Interact with various technicians to ensure safe work on equipment.
- Complete process checklists and report any deviations to management.
- Complete detailed root cause/corrective action reports.

Skills listed below would be an asset:

- Experience with a Distributed Control System (DCS).
- Competent in reading & understanding policies,



documents & drawings.
- Ability to recognize abnormalities and hazards then analyze and troubleshoot for corrective actions.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Solid mechanical skills and the ability to follow & understand process flow.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
