Candidates should have three years of related experience, including civil design and project oversight. Duties include reviewing subdivision plans, managing engineering reports, and ensuring compliance with municipal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage projects vital for municipal infrastructure enhancements • Review civil engineered plans and capital works designs • Support the approval process for development applications • Prepare bylaws and policy documents relevant to engineering • Assist in creating reports for management and council
Requirements: • High school diploma; diploma in Civil Engineering Technology • Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence • At least three years of experience in a local government • Registered with EGBC or ASTTBC as appropriate • Strong analytical and communication skills
