Join Hydrostor as a Senior Mechanical Engineer and lead the development of revolutionary energy storage technologies in Toronto. This hybrid role combines design, integration, and sustainability.
In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the mechanical systems for our Advanced Compressed Air Energy Storage plants. Your responsibilities include documenting designs, managing subsystem-level requirements, and facilitating cross-team collaboration to optimize performance. You'll strategically influence the successful execution of our power generation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and document mechanical designs and specifications • Ensure compliance with industry standards during product development • Integrate mechanical systems within energy facilities • Manage requirements for functional and nonfunctional aspects • Serve as a subject matter expert across interdisciplinary teams
Requirements: • 7+ years of mechanical engineering experience in power generation • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent • Robust proficiency with requirements management tools • Excellent project and product management skills • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
