Reporting to the Client Care Manager, you will play a critical role in helping newcomers through their initial steps in Canada. The position entails serving clients, conducting needs assessments, and facilitating access to various support services. This temporary position runs until March 31, 2027, with in office work three days a week to foster connections.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome clients and provide the necessary support
• Handle inquiries about various settlement services
• Assess client needs for effective service referral




• Maintain updated client information in databases
• Schedule appointments for needed support services
Requirements:
• Diploma in Office Administration or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in customer support
• Working knowledge of diverse cultural communities
• Competent in Microsoft Office and CRM software
• Experience in multi-line telephone operations
Support and guide newcomers in their settlement process as part of the team at Immigrant Services Calgary.
