MSH Americas is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Associate, Member Payments to join our Finance team on contractural basis. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring timely and accurate claims payments while supporting day-to-day accounting operations.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Accounting Associate, Member Payments, you will:

- Process and support high-volume claims payments from multiple trust bank accounts
- Ensure claims are properly integrated, batched, and posted within accounting systems
- Review and process claim payment voids and stop payment requests
- Assist the Claims team by investigating and resolving payment-related inquiries
- Maintain accurate financial records and payment documentation
- Identify discrepancies in claims payment data and collaborate with internal teams to resolve them
- Print, process, and distribute claim cheques and supporting documents, including Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
- Support the sorting and handling of returned mail and cheques
- Update and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Complete daily KPI tracking and reporting
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

- 3+ years of experience in an accounting, accounts payable, claims payment, or related role
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume,



deadline-driven environment
- Robust attention to detail and accuracy
- Sound judgment and proactive problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including intermediate Excel skills
- Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and software

Nice to Have

- Experience within the insurance industry, brokerage, or managing general agency environment
- Experience processing a high volume of payments daily
