Contexte
As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an Accounting Technician to join our Montréal office. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, the successful candidate will participate in the full accounting cycle and actively contribute to the smooth operation of the firm's financial activities.
The position requires close collaboration with project managers and various internal teams.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in a similar role and demonstrates strong organizational skills, autonomy, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare project invoices in collaboration with project management teams;
- Record payments received and monitor accounts receivable;
- Follow up and collect outstanding client accounts;
- Process supplier and consultant invoices;
- Prepare supplier payments;
- Maintain and update cash flow tracking tools;
- Perform bank reconciliations;
- Participate in consortium accounting activities;
- Record journal entries approved by the Director of Finance;
- Assist with month-end activities;
- Perform various tasks related to accounts payable, general accounting, and administrative support.
Your Profile
- College diploma (DEC) in Accounting or equivalent education and experience;
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in a similar position;
- Strong command of French, both spoken and written;
- Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written (asset);
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
- Knowledge of accounting software or an ERP system;
- Knowledge of Deltek Vantagepoint (asset).
