Accounts Payable Analyst

We are currently accepting applications for the role of Accounts Payable Analyst. This dynamic, highly organized individual will be located at our head office in St. John’s, NL. Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, the Accounts Payable Analyst will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions, vendor account management, reconciliations, and payment processing for the Fleet Division.

Responsibilities

· Process invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring appropriate approvals and coding.

· Prepare and process weekly payment runs, including electronic transfers and other payment methods.

· Ensure compliance with HST regulations.

· Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies.

· Maintain accurate vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries, engaging internal teams as needed.

· Identify opportunities to improve accounts payable processes, controls, and efficiencies.





· Provide backup coverage for Reception.

· Provide support to the Finance team on other accounting and administrative matters as required.

Qualifications

· Accounting diploma preferred, with a minimum of two years’ experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role. Equivalent education and experience will be considered.

· Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills.

· Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities.

· Solid communication and interpersonal skills.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
