About the Role

The Company is in search of an Executive Director to lead its philanthropic efforts, with a focus on preparing for a significant fundraising campaign. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic leadership, governance, and operations, working closely with the Board of Directors to drive the Foundation's strategy and ensure the achievement of ambitious fundraising goals. This role requires a energetic and engaging individual with a proven track record in senior fundraising leadership, including experience in a variety of fundraising programs such as major gifts, capital campaigns, and corporate sponsorships. The Executive Director will also be the primary fundraiser, directly managing a portfolio of prospects and donors, and will be expected to build a culture of philanthropy both within the organization and the community.





Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include team leadership, financial management, and community and public relations. The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and a passion for healthcare philanthropy. They should be adept at cultivating and stewarding relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including donors, community leaders, and healthcare professionals. The role demands a high level of professionalism, integrity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Experience in a healthcare setting and with rural community fundraising is considered an asset, as is a strong desire to live and engage with the local community.
