Acute General Medicine Specialist pharmacist | Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Company: Company: Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Are you an experienced clinical pharmacist looking to expand your skills and clinical expertise by providing an enhanced pharmacy service to an Acute Medical ward within the Acute Medicine and Rehabilitation directorate? If so, we have an opportunity for you in the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. In your application, you should state the date you will received final ratified university certificate and diploma results if you have not completed.

We are looking for a intuitive,enthusiasticand versatile pharmacist to join our diverse and inclusive team to help us deliver excellent compassionate care to our patientsvia a patient focused clinical pharmacy service. The pharmacy department at OUH comprises of over 100 staff in the clinical pharmacy team, and we work across all 4 hospital sites. This role is based at the John Radcliffe hospital within the Acute medicine pharmacy team.

- To provide a ward-based clinical pharmacy service according to Trust agreed standards.




- To maintain a clinical expertise and develop particular areas of interest as appropriate and in accordance with the Trust and Pharmacy strategy.
- To provide clinical pharmacy cover to other ward areas within the team on a reciprocal basis.
- To ensure medicines are used appropriately, safely and cost-effectively in accordance with Trust policy, standard operating procedures and medicines legislation.
- To monitor medicines use within the ward area and contribute to clinical governance plans.
- To work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team in developing the pharmacy service.
