The Opportunity
SAIT has partnered with the Solicitor General and Alberta Advanced Education to deliver Standard First Aid Training and H2S Alive at Calgary Correctional Centre (CCC). This instructional chance to scheduled to deliver in-person training on site at CCC.
The tentative start date is November 2026 to August 2027
Programing will run Monday to Friday (with the exception of Statutory holidays), max 6 hours per day.
The ideal candidate would be certified as a Standard First Aid Instructor and H2S Alive Instructor.
Police Information Check is required as part of the onboarding process

Qualifications
- Required
- Certified Standard First Aid Instructor with a minimum of 3-5 years teaching experience.
- Red Cross SFA Instructor Certification required
- H2S Alive Instructor Certification required
- Experience and fluency with Office 365 (MS Word, Outlook and PowerPoint)
- Fluent in English reading and vocabulary
- Comfortable speaking to the public
- Positive & respectful attitude
- Ability to read, interpret and deliver specific curriculum
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to organize and present written information
- - Desired:
- Training and knowledge of adult learning fundamentals
- Formal training or education in facilitation or teaching
- Formal training in online technologies
