Join Alberta’s health transformation as the Advisory Councils Secretariat Manager based in Calgary or Edmonton. This full time role focuses on council operations, stakeholder engagement, and leadership in a critical health sector. In this position within the Ministry of Primary and Preventative Health Services, your expertise will support regional councils in improving health care delivery.
You will lead a team to enhance collaboration, while also managing council meetings, stakeholder outreach, and operational priorities. Your strategic insights will play a vital role in addressing local health issues and guiding policy support. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead effective governance for advisory councils
- Supervise and support team members’ growth
- Plan and coordinate stakeholder engagement activities
- Foster relationships with community and government partners
- Drive project management and operational strategies Requirements:
- Degree in Public Health, Business, or related field with four years experience
- Class 5 Driver’s license for minimal travel
- Knowledge of Alberta health care systems
- Flexibility for evening and weekend work if needed
