Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and passionate Aerial Silk Instructor dedicated to inspiring and teaching youth in the art of aerial silks. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where young students can explore their physical potential, develop current skills, and build confidence through aerial arts. The instructor will design age-appropriate lessons that foster creativity, discipline, and teamwork while ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed.

Duties
- Lead dynamic aerial silk classes tailored specifically for youth, focusing on skill development, strength building, and flexibility.
- Create engaging lesson plans that incorporate fundamental techniques, safety instructions, and fun activities to motivate young learners.
- Supervise students during classes to ensure proper use of equipment and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Provide individualized feedback and encouragement to help students progress confidently in their aerial skills.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, teamwork, and self-expression among children.
- Maintain equipment safety checks and ensure all aerial silks are properly set up before each class.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about student progress and address any concerns professionally.
Skills
- Proven experience in teaching or tutoring children in movement arts or physical education.
- Strong background in aerial silks or similar circus arts with the ability to demonstrate techniques clearly.
- Experience working with children, especially in early childhood education or classroom settings.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct young students and collaborate with parents or guardians.
- Ability to create a safe learning environment by enforcing safety protocols and equipment maintenance.
- Creative mindset with the ability to design fun, age-appropriate lesson plans that inspire confidence and enthusiasm.
- Additional skills such as cooking or other classroom activities are a plus for integrating diverse engagement methods.
