Supervise transitions, snack time, homework time, reading time, activities, and pick-up.
Report injuries, incidents, conflicts, missing students, or safety concerns to management immediately.

Homework and Academic Support
Support students in completing homework, reading assignments, worksheets, and school tasks.
Help students understand instructions and stay focused during study time.

Create a calm, structured, and respectful after school environment.
Lead or assist with age-appropriate activities, including reading, educational games, simple STEM/craft activities, discussion, and quiet work time.
Prepare and organize materials before and after program sessions.
Keep the classroom clean, safe, and orderly.
Help students develop routines such as unpacking, organizing homework, cleaning up, and preparing for dismissal.
Behaviour Guidance
Use positive guidance, clear expectations, and age-appropriate redirection.
Encourage respectful communication, cooperation, responsibility, and kindness.
Address disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful behaviour calmly and consistently.
Escalate repeated or responsible behaviour concerns to management.
Never use physical punishment, threats, humiliation, yelling, or degrading language.
Parent and Team Communication
Communicate with parents professionally when needed, especially regarding pick-up, homework completion, behaviour, or urgent concerns.
Provide brief updates to management about student progress, incidents, or recurring issues.
Work cooperatively with other teachers, tutors, teaching assistants, volunteers, and administrative staff.
