SpiderSmart Learning Center of Waterloo is currently seeking enthusiastic and qualified educators to join our team as part-time tutors. Teachers will work with students in one-on-one sessions within a small group setting, using our ready-to-use SpiderSmart curriculum—no lesson planning is required.
We are looking for individuals who can teach Reading & Writing to students from elementary through high school.

Responsibilities:
- Teach up to 3 students at a time providing individualized attention within a small group setting
- Follow the SpiderSmart methodologies and curriculum
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Create a positive, focused, and encouraging learning environment
Qualifications (Required):
- Minimum three-year postsecondary degree
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a teaching or tutoring environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications (Assets):
- Currently holds an OCT (Ontario Certified Teacher) certificate, or has been accepted into an OCT program starting in September
- Experience working with children in classroom or tutoring settings
- Ability to adapt to different learning styles and academic levels
- Passion for education and student development
