Job Title: Agile Scrum Master

Location: Montreal- Hybrid (1 day remote per week)

Contract: 5+ months Contract with solid possibility of fulltime or long-term extension

Technical Skills:

What You'll Bring to the Role

8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Scrum Master, or Delivery Lead supporting enterprise technology initiatives.

Strong understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile principles.

Extensive experience gathering, documenting, and managing business and functional requirements.

Experience creating process maps, user journeys, workflow diagrams, and business capability models.

Solid knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile delivery practices.

Experience working closely with solution architects, developers, QA teams, and product owners.

Experience working within highly regulated environments such as banking, financial services, insurance, or capital markets.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Scrum Master Responsibilities

Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.

Support Product Owners in maintaining a prioritized backlog aligned to business priorities.

Monitor sprint progress and delivery commitments while managing risks, issues, dependencies, and impediments.





Promote Agile best practices and continuous improvement across the delivery team.

Provide transparency into delivery status, roadmap progress, and release planning.

Coordinate across multiple technology and business teams to ensure successful program execution.

Help establish delivery governance processes, metrics, and reporting mechanisms.

Drive team accountability and foster a culture of collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement.

Business Analysis

Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, operational challenges, and business requirements.

Conduct workshops, interviews, process walkthroughs, and discovery sessions to gather and document requirements.

Analyze current-state business processes and define future-state operating models.

Create business requirements documents, functional specifications, user stories, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria.

Identify opportunities for workflow optimization, automation, and process standardization.

Work closely with solution architects and engineering teams to ensure business requirements are translated into effective technical solutions.

Support solution design discussions and validate proposed functionality against business expectations.

Facilitate user acceptance testing, business validation, and production readiness activities.
