Avanciers Incorporated is hiring an AI Data Engineer for one of our clients.

Job Title: AI Data Engineer Job Location: Greater Toronto Area (Hybrid) Employment Type: Contract

Duration: Long term Compensation Range: $80 - $95 per hour This is an active job and application deadline is August 30, 2026 (This posting may close earlier if a suitable candidate is found)

- Strong software engineering experience with Python and/or Java, building clean, scalable, production-grade applications, microservices, and REST APIs in cloud/distributed environments.
- Hands-on experience designing AI agentic and multi-agent systems, including tool use, planning, autonomous workflows, collaboration/delegation, conversational systems, and short-/long-term context management.
- Strong expertise in RAG, MCP servers, vector databases, document ingestion/parsing, external API integrations, and enterprise data sources.
- Solid knowledge of agentic AI security, databases (PostgreSQL/SQL Server), monitoring, Git, CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), Terraform, and production/on-call environments.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to work independently and mentor others; experience with Spring Boot, React, Selenium, Istio, Ansible, OAuth/OIDC/SAML, SaaS, SOA,



and Generative AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot is a plus.
