AI Automation Specialist (READ FIRST)

We are looking for someone who can actually build with AI, not someone who simply completed an online AI certificate.

This is a hands-on technical role focused on creating AI agents, automations, integrations, and workflows using modern AI platforms and tools.

You do not need to be a software engineer, but you must be technically capable, comfortable troubleshooting, and able to understand how systems work together.

What You'll Do

- Build and maintain AI agents and automated workflows.
- Create automations that connect different systems, applications, and APIs.
- Work with tools such as Hermes, OpenClaw, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, and other LLM platforms.
- Configure AI agents to perform real business tasks.
- Troubleshoot agents when they fail or produce unexpected results.
- Work with APIs, webhooks, JSON, authentication, and integrations.
- Build automations around Microsoft 365.
- Test AI workflows before they are deployed.
- Document how agents and automations work.
- Improve existing automations as requirements change.
- Work with technical teams to connect AI into real business environments.

What You Need to Understand

Linux

You need to be comfortable working in Linux.

You should understand

- Command line / terminal
- Files and directories
- Permissions
- Services
- Processes
- Installing applications
- Configuration files
- Logs
- Basic networking
- Troubleshooting applications running on Linux

You don't need to be a Linux administrator, but Linux cannot be unfamiliar territory.

Coding

You don't need to be a professional developer, but you must understand programming concepts.

You should be able to:

- Read code and understand what it is doing.
- Make basic changes to code.

- Understand variables, functions, conditions, loops, and objects.
- Understand JSON.
- Understand APIs and API responses.
- Follow errors and troubleshoot problems.

Experience with languages such as Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages is valuable. We care much more about whether you understand code than whether you have a programming certificate.

Microsoft 365

You should understand how a Microsoft 365 tenant works, including concepts such as:

- Users and groups
- Microsoft Entra ID
- Exchange Online
- SharePoint
- OneDrive
- Teams
- Microsoft Graph
- Application registrations
- Permissions and authentication
- Copilot

You do not need to be a Microsoft 365 architect, but you should understand what you're connecting an AI agent into. AI Platforms & Agents

You should have a working understanding of platforms and technologies such as:

- Claude
- Hermes
- OpenClaw
- Microsoft Copilot
- Large Language Models (LLMs)
- AI agents
- Tool calling
- Prompts and system instructions
- Agent memory/context
- APIs
- MCP and similar agent integration concepts

You don't have to already know every platform we use. You do need to be the kind of person who can sit down with a current platform, understand how it works, and start building with it.

What We're NOT Looking For

We are not looking for someone whose AI experience consists entirely of:

- Completing an online AI certificate.
- Taking a prompt engineering course.
- Using ChatGPT to write emails.
- Watching AI tutorials without actually building anything.
- Adding "AI" to their resume without understanding the technology.

Certifications are fine, but they do not replace technical ability. We want someone who has actually experimented, built things, broken things, troubleshot them, and figured out how to make them work.

The Person We're Looking For

You're probably someone who

- Likes figuring out how technology works.
- Builds things just to see if you can.
- Is comfortable searching through logs and error messages.
- Can troubleshoot instead of immediately giving up when something fails.
- Understands that AI agents require more than writing prompts.
- Can learn new platforms quickly.
- Enjoys automation.
- Can take a manual business process and think, "How could we automate this?"
- Isn't afraid of Linux, APIs, code, or unfamiliar technology.

Experience Formal education is not the deciding factor for this position.

We are more interested in what you can demonstrate.

Candidates should be prepared to discuss or demonstrate things they have actually built, including:

- AI agents
- Automations
- API integrations
- Scripts
- Microsoft 365 integrations
- Personal AI projects
- Workflow automation
- Local or hosted LLM projects

Show us what you've built. - Include a document or cover letter with projects or github. A certificate tells us you completed a course.

We want to know whether you can actually make the technology work.

Work Location: In person
