From monitoring high-tech security systems to conducting hands-on access and baggage control, your attention to detail and communication skills will make a real impact.

Responsibilities for Airport Security Guard

- Conduct access control and baggage inspections to ensure safety
- Perform aircraft searches and monitor catering areas, including observing and sealing catering equipment
- Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity in real time




- Respond promptly to incidents or potential threats
- Conduct regular foot patrols both indoors and outdoors, regardless of weather conditions
- Document observations and incidents in detailed reports
- Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with law enforcement during reliable situations or emergencies

Qualifications for Airport Security Guard

- - Authorized to work in Canada
- Valid Ontario Security License – Required
- Standard First Aid Level C Certification – Required
- Strong observation and communication skills

- Excellent report writing skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert throughout your shift
- Access to a personal vehicle - Asset
