Brant Community Healthcare System (BCHS) is a 300+ bed acute care facility offering comprehensive specialty programs. The Anesthesiology Department at the Brantford General Hospital provides coverage for a range of surgical specialties—including general surgery, urology, orthopedics, gynecology, endoscopy, pediatrics and ENT—as well as obstetrical care for an average of 1,500 deliveries per year. The department emphasizes teamwork and a good work‑life balance with a adaptable schedule.
We are currently seeking full‑time permanent Associate Anesthesiologists to join a group of 14 physicians. Candidates must be certified in anesthesiology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (or equivalent) and licensed or eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Experience with both adult and pediatric patients is required.
Compensation is based on fee‑for‑service billing to the Ontario Health Insurance Plan, with additional on‑call pay through the Hospital On‑Call Coverage Program.
Physicians will obtain their own professional benefits through the Ontario Medical Association or preferred provider.
