Be part of Apple’s cutting-edge Product Operations as a Machine Learning Research Engineer, focusing on anomaly detection and automated machine learning approaches. Engage in research to enhance multi-modal data processing in manufacturing. This role revolves around improving Apple’s manufacturing ML capabilities, allowing you to implement effective strategies using diverse data formats like time-series and images.

You will spearhead work from research conception through to practical application, helping shape the direction of manufacturing-related machine learning initiatives. Training other team members in implementing successful methodologies will also form part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities:

- Research anomaly detection and automated ML techniques




- Implement and communicate ML experiments effectively
- Support ML software engineers with production strategies
- Work alongside academia and internal research teams
- Present research findings to diverse audiences Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Machine Learning, Computer Science, or ECE
- Demonstrated experience in ML experiment design
- Strong publication history in machine learning conferences
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in software development practices Leverage your machine learning expertise at Apple to advance groundbreaking manufacturing technologies.
