2 year Contract hands-on production support role, with Microsoft Dynamics GP and related financial applications being the primary focus. You will work closely with Finance users, IT, software vendors and other stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, support financial processes, maintain system reliability, and assist with reporting and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide Tier 2/3 support for Microsoft Dynamics GP
- Troubleshoot application errors, processing issues, configuration problems and user issues
- Support GP financial modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Support month-end and year-end financial processing
- Investigate data and transaction issues and assist with reconciliation/root-cause analysis
- Administer GP users, roles, security and application configuration
- Use Microsoft SQL Server for data investigation, queries, views and stored procedures
- Support financial reporting, including SSRS and GP reporting tools
- Troubleshoot integrations and data exchanges between GP and other systems




- Work with Microsoft Dynamics GP partners and vendors when escalation is required
- Document issues, resolutions, procedures and system configurations
- Provide support for other corporate applications as required
- Assist with upgrades, testing, patches, configuration changes and enhancements
- Provide guidance and training to end users when needed

Required Experience

- Hands-on Microsoft Dynamics GP / Outstanding Plains production support experience — mandatory
- Strong understanding of financial systems and accounting processes
- Approximately 5+ years of enterprise application support experience
- Strong Microsoft SQL Server skills, including queries, relational databases, views and stored procedures
- Experience with reporting tools, ideally SSRS and Dynamics GP reporting
- Experience troubleshooting integrations, logs, event viewers and application errors
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with Finance, IT, business users and vendors
- Strong documentation and stakeholder support skills
