Duties

- Assist senior carpenters in measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and other materials using hand tools and power tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to support project execution
- Support concrete forming and finishing tasks for foundations, walls, or other structures
- Participate in siding installation, framing, and restoration projects to enhance building durability and aesthetics
- Operate heavy equipment safely when required for lifting or moving materials
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite by properly storing tools and disposing of debris




- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and team members

Requirements

- Basic understanding of blueprint reading and schematics preferred but not required; willingness to learn essential skills on the job
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor throughout the workday
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, woodworking techniques, and construction practices is a plus
- Strong interest in carpentry, concrete finishing, welding, siding installation, or restoration work
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team
- Prior construction experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated learners
