Job Overview

Apprentice Plumber in either your 1st or 2nd year, where you will gain hands-on experience and develop essential skills in plumbing and construction. This paid apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to learn from seasoned professionals while contributing to a variety of plumbing projects. You must be enrolled in an apprenticeship program to be considered for this position.

You will assist with renovation, installation, maintenance, and repair tasks, helping ensure high quality service delivery in residential sites. If you’re eager to build a solid foundation in plumbing and you are willing to do the work of an apprentice including lifting, jack hammering concrete, drain tile install and other duties as required.

Duties

- Assist senior plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems using hand tools and power tools to work in basements and outdoors.
- Support the assembly of piping systems, fixtures, and other plumbing components according to specifications
- Use basic math skills to measure, cut, and fit pipes accurately for various applications
- Help with installation . Lift , carry and cleanup site.
- Maintain a clean and secure work environment by following safety protocols and handling tools properly




- Participate in routine maintenance tasks and troubleshooting to identify potential issues early

Experience

- Previous construction or plumbing experience is a plus but not required;
- enthusiasm and work ethic are essintial
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic carpentry skills will be advantageous
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations needed for accurate installations
- Strong interest in developing mechanical knowledge within the plumbing trade
- Ability to follow instructions carefully while working both independently and as part of a team

- Criminal Record check as you will be in people's homes
- Clean Driver's Licence and of age to qualify for insurance
- Legally entitled to work and stay in Canada
- Fluent in English, reading and writing
