A place where you can use your enthusiasm and passion for manufacturing?
Then think about us for this outstanding opportunity.
We are a dynamic, successful, and still growing company dedicated to architectural fabrication. The successful candidate will be involved in design of complex architectural assemblies, such as balconies, canopies, sculptures, custom facades, and signage.
JOB OVERVIEW

In this role, you will design, model, and detail a diverse range of custom metal components, including architectural signage, canopies, balconies, and public art installations.
The ideal candidate understands how custom building components interface with main building structures, possesses deep knowledge of metal fabrication processes, and ensures all designs strictly comply with building codes and structural engineering principles.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create Shop Drawings: Transform design intent drawings into millimetre-accurate production models and fabrication-ready shop drawings.
- Structural Integration: Design the precise connection points and anchoring methods required to safely mount metal components to concrete, steel, or wood structures.
- Code Compliance: Review all designs to ensure compliance with relevant local building codes,
accessibility standards, and safety regulations.
- Engineering Collaboration: Work closely with structural engineers to validate load-bearing requirements, wind-load calculations, and material stresses.
- Manufacturing Output: Prepare digital files for production, including nesting layouts, machining vectors, and assembly bills of materials (BOM).
- Material Selection: Advise on appropriate metal grades, gauges, finishes (e.g., powder coating, anodizing, galvanizing), and fasteners to combat corrosion and wear.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: 3+ years of experience designing architectural metalwork, miscellaneous metals, or structural components within a fabrication workplace.
- Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD modeling software, such as Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, or Autodesk Fusion 360.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong foundation in structural engineering principles (e.g., shear, moment, static loading, and connection types).
- Code Literacy: Demonstrated knowledge of local building codes and structural standards.
- Fabrication IQ: Thorough understanding of metalwork processes, including TIG/MIG welding, brake press forming, machining, waterjet cutting, and CNC laser/plasma cutting.
Benefits:
- Casual dress
- On-site parking
- Profit sharing
