As part of Springboard’s Developmental Services team, you will assist youth with developmental disabilities in their transition from the child welfare system. This role emphasizes team-oriented goal-setting, implementation of life skills training, and enhancing community participation. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of services that align with individual capabilities and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct needs analysis and goal planning with individuals
• Implement life skills programs for community integration
• Deliver therapeutic support services in a TAY home setting




• Plan and facilitate community activities safely
• Support crisis management and positive behavior reinforcement
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Social Services or equivalent
• Two years relevant experience with developmental disabilities
• First Aid and CPI Certifications required
• Expert knowledge of trauma-informed practices
• Excellent communication skills in English
