Assistant Manager-Front End

Grande Prairie, Alberta | Full-Time

We are looking for a proven Assistant Manager- Front End who can drive sales, deliver an exceptional customer experience, and lead a service-advisor team to consistently high performance.

The successful candidate must be comfortable setting expectations, coaching employees, correcting performance issues, and holding the front counter accountable for results. As well as personally assisting customers and selling services.

What You Will Be Responsible For

- Leading, coaching, and supporting the service-advisor team
- Training advisors in customer communication, sales, estimating, follow-up, and objection handling
- Setting clear daily expectations and holding the team accountable
- Building customer trust while confidently recommending required repairs and maintenance
- Reviewing estimates and helping advisors improve sales and closing performance
- Monitoring workflow to ensure vehicles move efficiently from check-in to completion
- Coordinating effectively with technicians, parts personnel, and management
- Handling escalated customer concerns professionally and protecting long-term relationships
- Following up on declined work, outstanding estimates, and customer commitments




- Maintaining accurate repair orders and complete customer and vehicle information
- Helping management track and improve key performance indicators, including sales, average repair order, closing percentage, customer retention, and productivity
- Identifying problems quickly and taking ownership of solutions

Required Qualifications

- Previous management or team-leadership experience is required
- Strong customer-service and sales ability is required
- Proven experience training, coaching, and leading a team is required
- Demonstrated ability to sell based on value, safety, reliability, and customer needs
- Ability to hold employees accountable and address performance issues directly
- Strong written, verbal, and telephone communication skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and remain composed in a busy repair-shop environment
- Comfortable working with sales targets and performance measurements
- Robust computer skills and the ability to learn shop-management software
- Valid driver’s licence
