Grey Gardens is a fine dining restaurant located in Kensington Market with a strong wine focus and Michelin-recognized Bib Gourmand.

We're hiring for a permanent Assistant Manager role to work evenings at Grey Gardens. This person will report to the General Manager. It's a small space, so this role will include serving a section.

Experience serving tables in a busy, formal setting is required. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience working in fine dining service with at least 3 years of management experience and a solid foundation of wine service and knowledge. All service hours worked include a tip-out.

Duties & Responsibilities:

As an Assistant Manager for Grey Gardens you will be responsible for the following:

- Leading staff to ensure and maintain a high standard of service, food, and guest experience.
- Maintaining a positive, safe, and inclusive work culture consistent with the Grey Gardens Employee Manual.
- Supervising the restaurant during service while taking on a service role,



running pre-shift meetings, printing menus, submitting end-of-shift reports.
- Attending biweekly management meetings.
- Monitoring cleanliness of the restaurant and raising any maintenance concerns to the General Manager.
- Selling wine on the restaurant floor, receiving & stocking beverages, and monthly beverage inventory.
- Responding to and resolving guest complaints (in-person or via email).
