We are continuing to invest in our people, technology, data, marketing, and operating systems as we build a more modern and professional automotive retail business. Our team is multicultural, performance-oriented, and committed to accountability, continuous improvement, and excellent customer service.
About the Opportunity The Assistant Sales Manager is a working sales-leadership position designed for an experienced automotive sales professional who is ready to take the next step beyond a traditional salesperson role.
This is not a desk-only management position. The successful candidate will continue to build a personal customer base, generate opportunities, and close deals, while also demonstrating leadership on the sales floor, supporting team execution, and helping maintain strong standards in CRM usage, customer follow-up, deal quality, and compliance.
The role is well suited to a proven producer who wants greater responsibility, broader exposure to dealership operations, and a credible pathway toward future sales management. Advancement is based on sustained performance, sound judgment, leadership contribution, and the ability to help the wider team succeed.
Key Responsibilities
Build and manage a personal pipeline through referrals, repeat business, prospecting, digital channels, and company-generated opportunities
Manage the full vehicle sales process, from first contact and needs assessment through presentation, negotiation, closing,
financing coordination, and delivery
Consistently achieve individual sales and gross-profit expectations while contributing positively to overall dealership performance
Lead by example on the sales floor through professionalism, urgency, organization, and disciplined customer follow-up
Support Sales Management with day-to-day floor coordination, customer escalations, deal progression, and execution of sales priorities
Assist and coach less-experienced sales team members when appropriate, without losing accountability for personal production
Maintain complete, accurate, and timely customer and opportunity records in the CRM
Work collaboratively with Finance, Marketing, Inventory, and Delivery teams to provide a smooth customer experience
Operate within established approval limits and promptly escalate pricing, trade, finance, or customer commitments requiring management authorization
Follow VSA requirements, company policies, privacy obligations, and ethical sales standards at all times
