Role Description The Assistant Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Laval, QC, supporting the Store Manager in day-to-day store operations. This role includes leading and coaching the sales team, ensuring outstanding customer service, and driving sales performance to meet and exceed store targets.

Manager helps oversee visual merchandising, inventory management, and compliance with company policies and procedures. The role also involves scheduling, onboarding, and supporting staff development, while fostering an inclusive,
engaging work environment that reflects ALDO’s values.

Qualifications
- Experience in retail or customer-facing environments, with strong customer service and sales skills.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate teams, including basic people management and conflict resolution skills.
- Solid organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail in store operations and inventory handling.
- Comfort with point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications; ability to learn new retail technologies quickly.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work a versatile schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
- Demonstrated alignment with ALDO’s values around diversity, inclusion, and sustainability; previous fashion or footwear experience is an asset.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in retail management, business, or related field is considered an advantage.
