Touché is a leading media agency built on insight, innovation, and a commitment to creating meaningful connections between brands and people. We bring together diverse expertise across strategy, media, data, technology, and activation to help our clients achieve measurable business results.
About the Role
Touché is looking for a collaborative and strategically minded Associate Director, Digital to help lead the development and delivery of integrated digital media solutions for our clients.
Working closely with a Director and cross-functional teams, you will help bring together channel specialists, analysts, activation teams, agency partners, media partners, and client stakeholders to turn business objectives into effective digital media strategies.
This is a senior leadership and orchestration role. You will provide strategic direction and oversight across Search, Social, Programmatic, Display, video, and emerging digital channels, while channel specialists lead much of the platform-level activation and optimization. You will also serve as a senior partner to the Director and client lead, contributing to key client conversations and leading defined strategic, planning, performance, and capability workstreams.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with the Director, client leads, and cross-functional teams to develop integrated digital media strategies aligned to client business, marketing, and communications objectives.
- Provide strategic direction and coordination across Search, Social, Programmatic, Display, video, and other digital channels.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of digital media professionals.
- Bring together channel specialists, analytics, activation, ad operations, investment, finance, media partners, and agency teams around clear priorities and effective ways of working.
- Provide senior oversight of campaign deployment, pacing, optimization, reporting, measurement, and post-campaign learning, in partnership with subject-matter experts.
- Help ensure strong standards for campaign quality, data integrity, reporting accuracy, documentation, and client deliverables.
- Translate campaign results, consumer insights, competitive activity, and marketplace developments into clear recommendations and business actions.
- Serve as a senior strategic resource in client discussions, business reviews, presentations, and defined planning or performance workstreams.
- Support budget stewardship, workflow coordination,
billing reconciliation, and campaign closure in collaboration with the appropriate internal teams.
- Contribute to agency thought leadership, best practices, capability development, partner relationships, and industry initiatives.
What You’ll Bring
Technical Skills
- Strong working knowledge of the digital media ecosystem, including Programmatic, Display, Paid Social, Search/SEM, video, audience strategy, and evolving digital buying models.
- Understanding of digital media planning, buying, trafficking, optimization, analytics, reporting, and measurement.
- Fluency in media math and key planning concepts, including audience, reach, frequency, pacing, KPIs, benchmarks, and performance measurement.
- Ability to interpret campaign, audience, and customer data and turn findings into strategic recommendations.
- Familiarity with digital media, reporting, analytics, and ad-technology tools such as Prisma, Datorama/DOMO, Google Analytics, social platforms, and third-party ad servers.
- Experience with attribution, data management platforms, and measurement methodologies is an asset.
Executional Deployment & Orchestration
- Experience coordinating multi-channel digital media work across teams, partners, workflows, priorities, and timelines.
- Ability to provide strategic oversight of campaign activation and performance while collaborating closely with channel and operations specialists.
- Experience leading, mentoring, coaching, or developing digital media professionals.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, quality-assurance, and process-management skills.
- Understanding of agency and client financial processes, including budget stewardship, billing reconciliation, and workflow management.
- Sound judgment, adaptability, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced workplace.
Strategy, Planning & Client Services
- Typically 7+ years of relevant digital media experience, with a demonstrated progression across strategy, planning, activation, optimization, analytics, and/or client service.
- A strategic,
client-focused approach and the ability to connect digital media activity to broader business outcomes.
- Experience working collaboratively across specialist disciplines rather than independently owning every channel workstream.
- Strong client-facing presence, with the ability to communicate digital strategies, performance findings, and recommendations clearly and confidently.
- Experience using data, consumer insight, marketplace knowledge, and team expertise to inform media strategy and investment decisions.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- A proactive, curious, collaborative, and solutions-oriented approach to leadership.
