Nour Private Wealth (NPW) is seeking a motivated and experienced Associate Portfolio Manager to join our growing investment and wealth management team.

The Associate Portfolio Manager will work closely with Portfolio Managers, Investment Advisors, and other members of the firm to support portfolio management, trading, portfolio rebalancing, investment analysis, portfolio construction, and the delivery of customized wealth management solutions. The successful candidate will combine strong investment knowledge and analytical capabilities with a high standard of client service, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

- Support Portfolio Managers in the ongoing management, monitoring, and review of client investment portfolios.
- Assist with portfolio construction, asset allocation, security selection, trade execution, and portfolio rebalancing in accordance with approved investment strategies and client mandates.
- Execute and monitor trades across applicable asset classes, including equities, fixed income, ETFs, mutual funds, and other investment products, in accordance with firm policies, client mandates, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor portfolios for rebalancing requirements resulting from market movements, cash flows, changes in investment objectives, asset allocation targets, or Portfolio Manager direction.
- Implement portfolio rebalancing strategies, including generating and reviewing proposed trades and ensuring portfolios remain appropriately aligned with their target asset allocations and investment mandates.
- Monitor trade execution, order status, allocations, and settlement, and work with internal teams and custodians to identify and resolve trading-related issues.
- Review client accounts for cash balances, upcoming cash requirements, deposits, withdrawals, maturities, and investment opportunities and take appropriate action in coordination with the Portfolio Manager.
- Conduct pre-trade reviews, where applicable, to ensure proposed transactions are consistent with client mandates, investment objectives, risk profiles, restrictions, and applicable compliance requirements.
- Assist with block trading and trade allocation processes, where applicable, ensuring transactions are allocated fairly and accurately in accordance with firm procedures.
- Identify and escalate trade errors, settlement issues, portfolio exceptions, or mandate deviations in accordance with the firm's policies and procedures.
- Conduct investment research and analysis across equities, fixed income, funds, ETFs, and other investment solutions, as applicable.
- Monitor portfolio positioning, performance, risk exposures, concentration, asset allocation, and investment opportunities.
- Prepare portfolio reviews, investment analyses, performance reports, and materials for client meetings.




- Participate in client meetings and portfolio reviews alongside Portfolio Managers and Investment Advisors.
- Develop a thorough understanding of clients' investment objectives, financial circumstances, risk tolerance, liquidity requirements, time horizons, and long-term goals.
- Monitor financial markets, economic developments, interest rates, industry trends, and company-specific developments that may affect client portfolios.
- Conduct due diligence on existing and prospective investments and prepare investment recommendations and supporting analysis.
- Collaborate with Financial Planners, Investment Advisors, and other professionals to ensure investment strategies are aligned with clients' broader wealth management and financial planning objectives.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to enhance client portfolios and deepen existing client relationships.
- Maintain accurate and complete trade records, investment documentation, client records, research, and supporting analysis.
- Ensure portfolio management and trading activities are conducted in accordance with client mandates, applicable securities regulations, CIRO requirements, and NPW's internal policies and procedures.
- Support Know Your Client (KYC), suitability, investment mandate, and other regulatory and compliance requirements applicable to client accounts and portfolio management activities.
- Participate in investment and portfolio review meetings and contribute research, market insights, and investment recommendations.
- Maintain current knowledge of capital markets, investment products, trading practices, portfolio management strategies, regulatory developments, and industry trends.
- Complete required continuing education and maintain all applicable registrations, licences, and professional designations.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Business.
- Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation is required.
- Must meet the applicable education, proficiency, registration, and experience requirements for the Associate Portfolio Manager position.
- CFA designation or progress toward the CFA Program is considered an asset.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant investment industry experience, preferably within portfolio management, discretionary investment management, trading, or wealth management.
- Demonstrated experience with trade execution, portfolio rebalancing, portfolio construction, and asset allocation.
- Strong knowledge of equities, fixed income, ETFs, mutual funds, and other investment products.
- Strong understanding of capital markets, investment analysis,



portfolio risk, trading processes, and investment mandates.
- Experience working within a CIRO-regulated investment setting is strongly preferred.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with portfolio management and trading systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple portfolios, trades, and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with Portfolio Managers, Investment Advisors, Compliance, Operations, and other members of the firm.
