Based at WRHN @ Midtown, this role requires an assessment of children's emotional and developmental needs in the context of health challenges. As a Child Life Specialist, you will cultivate a therapeutic workplace to aid children's healing processes while working closely with families and healthcare teams. Your contributions will enhance the overall pediatric care experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess psychosocial needs of under-18 patients
• Implement therapeutic play interventions for children




• Coordinate community partner collaborations
• Oversee organization of donations and supplies
• Mentor and support Child Life interns and volunteers
Requirements:
• Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) needed
• Master's in Pediatric Psychosocial Care preferred
• 2+ years working with pediatric populations
• Experience with play as a healing tool
• Familiarity with MS Office; Cerner knowledge beneficial
