Job Description

Position: Supervisor – Full Time at Kamsack Food.

What You’ll Do

- Supervise and delegate employee workflow and duties while ensuring all staff follow safety standards as well as Legacy Co-op's policies and procedures.
- Complete reviews on Team Members – plan, monitor, and review performance as it relates to the Performance Management process.
- Provide ongoing and frequent communication and coaching.
- Onboard and train recent staff.
- Demonstrate leadership in the operation of the Point-of-Sale system.
- Assist with interviews as needed.
- Perform general food store duties as required – stocking, receiving, ordering, opening, closing, and operating the POS system.

Who You Are

- You have prior supervisory experience (considered an asset).
- You have above‑average communication skills and computer skills.
- You have retail experience in customer service and merchandising.




- Have knowledge of retail grocery operations and are willing to expand knowledge in this area.
- You’re honest, trustworthy, results‑oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do.
- You are willing to work all scheduled shifts, including days, evenings, holidays, and weekends.
- You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value of different perspectives in meeting shared objectives.
- You are physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and kneel.
